Ghost in the Polka Dot Bikini
I picked up Ghost a la Mode a few years ago when I kept buying cheap kindle books. I at least don't do it as much now :)
This was one of the gems among all the books I picked up because they could be interesting. Emma Whitecastle learned about her paranormal ability to see and communicate with ghosts in the first book. She met her great-great-great-greatgrandmother and with her help, solved a family mystery.
Now Emma is comfortable in her ability and even hosts a paranormal show. While on vacation with her new boyfriend, she sees the ghost of a young woman who apparently doesn't even know she's dead. While researching the woman, she learns she was a 60s aspiring actress with a connection to Emma's former in-laws.
The book is a fun mystery with some good twists and mysteries. I will definitely pick up the next one and apparently there's also a fourth and a short story featuring her daughter.
