Just Another Reader

Soccerland is about Flora Dupree who loves soccer. She shared her love with her mother who died a few years ago. When she gets the chance to try out for the Under-15 USA team (which is the first step to playing professionally) she leaves her extremely small Maine town to travel to the International Sports Academy in Colorado.

The book was enjoyable with a good mix of characters and I'd recommend it, especially if you like soccer.
