Etiquette & Espionage

Etiquette & Espionage - Gail Carriger

Etiquette & Espionage brought me back the world of the Parasol Protectorate which I finished last month. It takes place before the series, so alas, no Alexandria.

It does feature a few characters from the series and I'm really hoping that a later book will feature Alessandro since I am dying to know more about him.

This book however, features Sophronia whose mother couldn't be happier to send off the troublesome tomboy when the girl accepted to a mysterious and prestigious finishing school.

If only her mother knew the school was for assassins.

I love Gail Carriger's books. I love the world she has created. It's a great combination of steampunk, paranormal, and historical fiction. She also infuses all her books with an element of fun that always makes me enjoy her books.

I actually already have the next book on my kindle, but seeing how the next two aren't being released anytime soon, I'll probably wait on it for a bit.
