Code Name Verity

Code Name Verity - Elizabeth Wein, Morven Christie, Lucy Gaskell

So one of the problems with me reading reviews, is when I know that there are a lot of twists, I have that in the back of my mind most of the time I am reading/listening. In this case I figured out a fair amount of plot points ahead of time.

Predictable isn't always a bad thing, but it didn't work in this book.

I did like the historical aspect and both narrators were great. I was confused why there were two, because both had to do different accents/languages and they didn't sound too different from each other. One narrator could have easily done both girls.

Overall, it was an interesting book, but I didn't love it.
