I need a break from Inheritance so went through a few graphic novels. First up was Fever Moon, which takes place during Shadowfever, aka the fifth book of the Fever series.
It takes place in the latter half, after Mac knows Barrons is not dead. It was fun to see what the characters look like, particularly the monsters. My idea of what the hunters and Barron's monster form were different than how they actually appeared. I didn't love Barron's design and Mac's was a bit too much of the unnatural body that I hate in comics. My only issue was there was a flashback to when she was Pryia and her hair was blonde. As I recall, she's a brunette between the middle of Darkfever to the middle of Shadowfever.
The comic does explain the world and situation so it is readable by people who have not read the other books. However, it does spoil major parts of them, so I would recommend people read the series first.
The story is basically a monster of the week which steals parts of people's faces.
I'd recommend for any Fever fan.
