This year I have resolved to finally read all Jane Austen's novels (and Lady Susan and Love and Friendship since they were free on amazon) with the exception of Pride and Prejudice which I read many years ago.
I started Sense and Sensibility a few years ago when I first got a kindle and got it for free off a random site that had ebooks with expired copyrights. The formatting was terrible and I gave up shortly after starting. Recently I picked up a free version from amazon and found it had much nicer formatting. Granted at this point I had caught the Sense and Sensibility movie with Emma Thompson so when I finally started reading it again I already knew the story. For Jane Austen I think it does help since so many of the conversations in her book are explained instead of actually happening.
Overall I did love it and I now need to rewatch the movie and apparently BBC did a miniseries a few years back.
