Just Another Reader

I do wish I would be able to read this without having the movie playing in my head. It's been years since I saw it but I remembered a fair amount. The movie really just took plotline of Holly and Gerry and his letters to her and a few details of their friends.

The book has a lot more to it, so if you did enjoy the movie I would recommend picking it up just to compare.  One aspect I liked was her family, which were different in the movie. Holly's relationships with her different siblings added a lot to the book which I thought worked.  

I can't say I really liked the book, but certain aspects did work for me.
