To my delight, I read this book while on a train. At one point another train did pull alongside us and I checked to make sure no one was getting murdered. Alas, my wish to live in a book remains a daydream.
In case you haven't read the book, it opens with a woman on a train who sees a murder on the opposite train as they pass each other. She alerts the conductor, who doesn't believe her, but passes on the message. The other train is searched later and no body is found.
Luckily, she is staying with her friend Miss Marple, who immediately takes the case.
This was a fun book, but I didn't like it as much as some of Christie's works. I felt the ending came a bit too much out of no where, and I was really trying to guess correctly.
