Seduce Me at Sunrise
The problem with me and Lisa Kleypas books is I can't really just read one. I ended up finishing the entire Hathaway series after finishing Mine by Midnight Thursday night. In each case but this one, I honestly only meant to read a chapter or two...
Win and Merripen were both introduced in the last book. Merripen was a Romani boy that the Hathaway took in after he was hurt and left for dead by his family. Like Cam Rohan from Mine Till Midnight, Merripen struggles with the differences between the two cultures. But he stays with the Hathaway family because he has been in love with the middle child Winnifred since he has known her.
However, Win has been weak since her bout with scarlet fever and Merripen does suffer from the classic not good enough for her syndrome. In the meantime Win leaves to go to a hospital in France to get better and when she returns, Merripen has to decide how much longer he will try not to give in.
The book also addresses the identical tattoos Cam and Merripen share. Mainly due to Cam's refusal to give up pursuit of what they mean.
