Just Another Reader

My third audiobook. I think I'm beginning to figure out what I like in audiobooks. It is crucial that the book is well-written but it can't be overly descriptive. The Snow Child is exceedingly descriptive. In a book if I start to get bored with the flowerly language I can easily skip over it. Not as easy with an audiobook. If I were an outdoorsy person I would love to go spend my life in Alaska based on this book. But I'm not (not that I dislike the outdoors, but I like indoor plumbing and the like). I also like to be warm.The audiobook was shorter than the last two I had been listening to but felt much longer, and that's why I didn't like it as much. I think this would be the type of book for me personally to read rather than listen.
